自己紹介 

バックグラウンド　Background 

「ポワチエ」と呼ばれる町で生まれ育ちました。フランスの西部にあり、かなり小さな都市であります。その大きさにもかかわらず、中世の建築物や遺跡が現在でも見られる古い町であるため、文化的・歴史的な意義がたくさんあります。勉強のために「リヨン」と呼ばれる大都市に引っ越ししました。 

日本で2つの交換留学に参加する機会を得ました。大阪で1年間生活し、現在は東京での交換留学をしています。日本での生活は本当に楽しく、この経験により、自分とはまったく違う文化を体験する機会があり、さまざまな方々と出会うことができました。これからも、さらに日本を発見し続けられることを願っています。 

I was born and raised in Poitiers, which is a rather small city located in the west of France. Despite its size it has a lot of cultural and historical significance as it is an old city with medieval architecture and remains that can still be seen today. I had to move to a bigger city for my studies which name is Lyon. 

Throughout my studies I have had the chance to take part in two different university exchanges in Japan. I lived one year in Osaka, and I am now completing an exchange semester in Tokyo. I really enjoy the life in Japan and these exchanges allowed me to experience a culture very different from my own and meet a lot of different people, which I truly enjoy. I hope to be able to continue to discover Japan even more in the coming months. 

大学生としての自分　 As a University Student 

フランスの大学では日本のビジネスと文化を専攻しています。つまり、日本語の授業を受けるとともに、マーケティングやマネジメントなどのビジネス関連の科目も学んでいます。早稲田大学では、日本語教育センターに交換留学生として1学期所属しており、主に日本語を学んでいます。その一方で、フォースウェーブでインターンシップを行っており、週に1〜2回オフィスに通っています。 

In my French university, I am specializing in Japanese language, business, and culture, which means I take classes in Japanese as well as business-related subjects like marketing and management. At Waseda University, I am enrolled in the Center for Japanese Language for one semester as an exchange student, focusing primarily on the Japanese language. In parallel, I am also doing this internship at 4th Wave, attending the office one to two days a week. 

インターンを始めたきっかけ　Motivation to start this internship 

フォースウェーブでのインターンシップを始めた理由は、将来働きたいと考えている観光業界で初めての経験を得るためです。   

また、私の学位を取得するためには、フルタイムで6ヶ月間のインターンシップを完了することが必要です。この機会を日本で得たいと考えていましたが、日本での仕事経験はありませんでした。そのため、フォースウェーブでのパートタイムインターンシップを見つけ、学業と並行して行うことができたおかげで、日本の職場環境について学び、語学スキルを向上させ、日本のチームと協力することができました。 この経験を通じて、今後のインターンシップを見つけることができ、今交換学期の終わりにそのインターンシップを始める予定です。 

My reason for starting this internship is to gain a first experience in the tourism industry, which is a field I am interested in for working in the future.  

Moreover, it is also a requirement for my degree to complete a full-time, 6-month internship to graduate. I wanted to do this opportunity in Japan but had no previous work experience in the country. Therefore, finding this part-time internship at 4th Wave, which I could do in parallel with my studies, allowed me to learn more about the working environment in Japan, develop my language skills, and collaborate with a Japanese team. With this experience, I was able to find my next internship which I will start at the end of this exchange semester. 

自分の興味・関心　 My passion / interest 

個人的には、私は多くの興味や趣味があります。その一つはゲームです。ボードゲームやビデオゲームを含むさまざまなゲームを楽しんでおり、自由な時間には新しいゲームを見つけるのも好きです。ひとりのときにはリラックスできますが、友達と一緒に遊ぶことも多いです。勝ち負けよりも、ゲームの最も大切な部分は、プレイしている人たちと一緒に時間を共有することだと思っています。日本では、新しい場所を旅行して発見することも大好きです。 

On a personal level, I have many interests and hobbies. One of them is gaming. I enjoy a wide variety of games, including board games and video games, and I like to discover new ones in my free time. When I’m alone, it helps me relax, but I also play a lot with my friends because, rather than winning or losing, I think that the most important part of playing games is sharing a moment with the people you’re playing with. In Japan, I also love to travel and discover new places. 

将来のビジョン　 Future vision 

将来の目的は、文化的なレベルでフランスと日本のつながりを強化することに貢献することです。フランスを訪問したがっている日本人観光客のために、自国を宣伝することができれば嬉しいです。 

最近、ますます多くの観光客が日本に訪れており、その中にはフランスからの観光客も含まれています。これが理由で、日本は観光客を迎えるための新たな課題に直面していると感じています。私は、新しい解決策を見つけることに貢献したいと考えており、今後数年間で国際観光がどのように進化していくのか、とても興味があります。 

One of my objectives for the future is to participate in strengthening the links between France and Japan on a cultural level. I hope to be able to promote my country for the Japanese tourists that are curious to discover it, and to guide French tourists who wish to come to Japan. 

In the last few years, more and more tourists have been coming to Japan, including French tourists. This is why I believe the country is facing new challenges in terms of welcoming them. I want to contribute to finding new solutions and am very curious to see how international tourism will evolve in the coming years.
